Jamie, who holds a BSc in Physics and Astronomy and an Masters degree in Nanoscale Science and Technology, is Lighting and LEDs group manager. Based in the UK, Jamie has been working in the LED area for IMS Research (now IHS following the 2012 acquisition) for over 6 years, has good relationships with most of the leading LED companies, and has spoken at industry conferences in the US, Sweden, Germany, Austria and the UK. Jamie has authored numerous reports in his career including Packaged LEDs, GaN LED Supply and Demand, LED Manufacturer Profiles, Optoelectronic Components, LED Driver ICs and LEDs in Automotive. Jamie has also produced numerous custom reports.

Dkins (Dae Kweon) Cho joined IHS in October of 2010 as Senior Analyst, LEDs and Displays. He was previously Director of LED Sales at Dominant Semiconductors Korea, responsible for all domestic accounts in South Korea covering general lighting and other consumer applications. He also held sales, marketing and engineering positions at semiconductor distributors and at LG International and LG Semicon. He has a materials engineering degree from Korea Aviation University.

Stacy is based in Taiwan and prior to joining IHS in 2012 had six years of experience with market analyst firms having previously worked for both iSuppli and IDC. In addition, Stacy has also worked in industry for both Philips and Delta Electronics. Stacy has experience with the top two end markets for LEDs (displays and general lighting). Stacy will be working on our quarterly GaN LED Supply and Demand report and LED Manufacturer Profile report, as well as custom and consultancy for Asia Pacific, and is the contact point for LED companies in Taiwan. Stacy has a Bachelor of Business Administration from National Cheng-chi University, Taiwan and an MSc in International Marketing from the University of Strathclyde in Glasgow, UK.

Alice Tao joined IMS Research in February 2011. She is based in Shanghai, China and has previously been a manager at ENF, a PV consulting firm. She has a BA from Anhui Normal University. As a co-author of our quarterly GaN LED MOCVD Supply and Demand report, Alice covers MOCVD shipments and LED wafer and die capacity. Alice covers all the China LED companies for IHS, and frequently visits and speaks to these companies. Alice has worked on a number of reports including custom reports and consultancy, and has spoken at many conferences in China.

Stewart Shinkwin joined the team in June 2012, and works alongside Jamie Fox and Stephanie Pruitt in the Wellingborough, UK office, an hour north of London. Stewart holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Economics from the University of Birmingham and has previously worked as a research analyst for a financial consultancy firm. He is working on the Packaged LEDs and Optoelectronic Components reports.

Stephanie Pruitt joined in September 2012. She is working on the Lamps & Luminaires in General Lighting and the LED Driver IC reports. She holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Pure Mathematics from Kent State University in Ohio. Although she is originally from the US, she will be based in the Wellingborough office in the UK.
